They do Cantonese but dabble in other styles. Don't get the Americanized Chinese or the daily specials - look to the white wall board and the seafood area of the menu. Daniel has been flying the fresh seafood in from Boston Seattle etc. for 20 years. Now with more space with a nice brick walled back dining room addition.
We usually order off the white board - the stir-fried grey sole and bok choy are always perfect - simple straight forward and delicate. In the back of the menu is Pan-fried noodles with shrimp scallops squid in black bean sauce and pan-fried noodles garlic shrimp - wonderful - been ordering it and the sole just about every visit for 18 years...whole fish, green beans and crab are also great. Also, lately we've been enjoying Scallops or Shrimp & Veggies with garlic sauce. When in doubt ask the knowledgeable waiters to guide you. Chinese restaurant, yes - but this is a cheap eats place to get great fresh seafood. Sure you can go to high-end joints for seafood and you'll probably have a good meal - but we'd rather sacrifice the fancy atmosphere and prices and still get excellent seafood.
