New home of the old Original Pancake House in Wayzata. Moved north about 1 mile. All brand new, bigger and spiffy. They are one of the links in a national chain started in 1953 and are focused like a laser on breakfast. They got the breakfast thing down and plenty of people know and want to be there. Uses high quality ingredients. Reasonable prices. Friendly attentive service. Big menu. A winning combination and why they are successful and often times crowded. Weekends will most likely be packed (especially Sunday after church) - if you must go then, try calling ahead - good luck. Weekdays are easier but still busy. Noteworthy: Apple Pancake-oven baked with Granny Smith apples; Dutch Baby; Vegetarian Omelette; Corned Beef Hash; Buttermilk Pancakes; Buckwheat Pancakes; Potato Pancakes; Sourdough Flap Jacks; Swedish Pancakes; Blueberry Pancakes; Bacon Pancakes; Georgia Pecan Pancakes; Dollar Pancakes; The Two By Four-2 eggs, any style, and 4 buttermilk pancakes; Three Little Pigs in Blankets; Sourdough French Toast; Pecan Waffle; Cherry Kijafa Crepes; Sugar Cured Hickory Smoked Ham & Eggs.

State Beer Song
"...From the Land of Sky Blue Waters. From the land of pines' lofty balsams, Comes the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. Brewed where nature works her wonders, Aged for many moons, gently mellowed, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. From across the rippling water, Through the whisp'ring pines and birches, Comes the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. Comes a call to cool enchantment, Comes a call to cool refreshment, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. Hints of lakes and sunset breezes, Dance and sparkle in each glassful, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing..." Dylan probably wished he'd written this while flying high on Hamms.
