By day the Good Day Cafe is a bistro specializing in breakfast. By evening the space is transformed into its alter ego - The Bad Day Bar - serving "Blue Plate" comfort food and drinks. On the outside, Good Day's location leaves a lot to be desired. Snugged up against and facing US394 with access a bit of a maze. The exterior suggests a restaurant on a city street instead of the office park lot it's really in. There are nifty words to live by bidding you welcome as you stroll inside.
Going through the doors you enter another world. A bright open upscale French style bistro with comfortable booths, tables and counter seating. Very popular and has crazy waits for breakfast, especially on week-ends. The lunch menu had sandwiches, soups, salads. Eating breakfast early or late will be less of a wait. Friendly attentive service when we've been there at quiet times. The Bad Day Bar has a menu with burgers, sandwiches, pot pies, beef stroganoff, mac and cheese, chops, and a full bar. It tends to be less crowded than breakfast.
