Small south Minneapolis neighborhood bistro serving very tasty well presented fresh local seasonal farm to table food with helpful attentive service. The menu changes with what is available - on our visit there was a bit of a southern flavor. There were also dishes of grits, bologna sandwich! and hush puppies. We settled on fried green tomatoes (fantastic), Parisienne gnocchi (guanciale, english pea, sage), Risotto (wild mushroom duxelle, creme fraîche), the day's special salad of heirloom tomatoes and salad greens and 2 Rush River IPAs. All were wonderful. We took our time and savored all the flavor in each and every bitethe. The bread (from Patisserie 46) with the incredible butter was a fantastic compliment to the meal. We left full and very satisfied. We'll be in Paris this fall - we found ourselves saying that we hoped our meals there will be as good as what we just had at the Corner Table in good old Minneapolis. We're looking forward to our next visit.

"...From the Land of Sky Blue Waters. From the land of pines' lofty balsams, Comes the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. Brewed where nature works her wonders, Aged for many moons, gently mellowed, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. From across the rippling water, Through the whisp'ring pines and birches, Comes the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. Comes a call to cool enchantment, Comes a call to cool refreshment, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. Hints of lakes and sunset breezes, Dance and sparkle in each glassful, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing..." Dylan probably wished he'd written this while flying high on Hamms.
