On's has very fresh authentic Thai food served in a low rent environment befitting its University and Snelling location. By the Love Doctor between Ax Man Surplus and the Turf Club. It is a bit musty smelling and the decor definitely needs some freshening up, but the food and friendly service were first rate and made up for the atmosphere. At most other Thai restaurants we are able to handle medium spice levels but we were well advised to go down to mild - still a bit hotter than other places' medium! We handled it though and cleaned our plates. They say everything is made from scratch and we believe them.
