Award winning authentic Ethiopian restaurant. This is a bare bones low-rent operation in a low-rent neighborhood that is exposing the Twin Cities to the exotic pleasures of complex spicy aromatic Ethiopian food, eating with our fingers (real finger food) and thinking/eating out of the box. We enjoy getting exposed to different cultures and endeavor to keep open minds about foreign customs and eating habits and having "learned" to eat with our fingers at a Moroccan restaurant in San Francisco we are able to get the job of eating done without making too big a mess. The basis for much of the food is a spongy bread called injera that can be used to scoop up the morsels. Vegetarian sampler, Wot dishes, and the ultimate combo are good choices. It's not cheap and the service is hit or miss. They have utensils if you prefer.

State Beer Song

"...From the Land of Sky Blue Waters. From the land of pines' lofty balsams, Comes the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. Brewed where nature works her wonders, Aged for many moons, gently mellowed, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. From across the rippling water, Through the whisp'ring pines and birches, Comes the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. Comes a call to cool enchantment, Comes a call to cool refreshment, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing. Hints of lakes and sunset breezes, Dance and sparkle in each glassful, Hamm's the beer refreshing, Hamm's the beer refreshing..." Dylan probably wished he'd written this while flying high on Hamms.
